Before starting his second day of informal summit with China's President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a stroll at a beach in Tamil Nadu; while roaming around he picked up plastic bottles, plates and other garbage from a beach outside the Taj Fisherman's Cove Resort and Spa in Mamallapuram.

As per scientific explanation, the lights are produced with the chemical reactions in the presence of oxygen involving an enzyme called “luciferase”. Bioluminescence can also be noticed in the fireflies.

The 25-year-old woman was sent to a hospital for treatment. The accused, identified as Sathyaraj of Velachery, was nabbed and handed over to the Egmore Government Railway Police (GRP).
