New Delhi : Under the leadership of Babar Azam, Pakistan achieved their 13th victory in the last 15 One Day International (ODI) matches. They secured a 26-run triumph over New Zealand in the third ODI held at the National Stadium in Karachi on Wednesday. With this win, Pakistan established an insurmountable 3-0 lead in the ongoing five-match series. Notably, Babar Azam now possesses the highest win percentage among all Pakistani captains in ODIs, surpassing the previous record set by Salim Malik.

Babar Azam's win percentage as an ODI captain currently stands at an impressive 68.75%, having emerged victorious in 16 out of the 24 ODIs in which he has led the team. Salim Malik held a winning percentage of 64.7%, having secured 21 wins in 34 ODIs. Following closely is former fast bowler Waqar Younis, with a win percentage of 61.66%, having achieved triumph in 37 ODIs out of 62 matches.
