New Delhi : Second T20I against South Africa was a dream match that every Indian fan would want to watch in cricket. Both sides were on fire as they scored big runs on the scoreboard and Team India won the match to seal the series 2-0.

Rohit Sharma and company came to bat first and from the starting they maintained a good run-rate of over 10 runs per over ensuring a huge pile of runs in front of South Africa. The men in blue scored 237 runs in fixed 20 overs, which is also the highest T20I total of the team against South Africa.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma gave Team India an intense start with 96 run partnership for the first wicket. Then came Suryakumar Yadav who also started hammering the bowlers and scored his half century in just 18 balls. He received full support from Virat Kohli on the other end who added 49 runs on the scoreboard. Dinesh Karthik then made some lusty blows in his seven-ball 17 not out.

In reply, South Africa also shown that they are not letting the match go easily. Quinton de Kock (69 not out) and David Miller (106 not out) did the bulk of scoring for the visitors as the men in blue restricted them for 221 runs in fixed 20 overs.

Despite a great effort from Miller and Kock, India won the game by 16 runs and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

India and South Africa will now play their third T20I in Indore on Tuesday.
