New Delhi : Indian ODI team is facing blows one after another. Firstly Jaspreet Bumrah was ruled out of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 due to an unrecoverable back pain till the event; now the reports are coming that another Indian pacer Deepak Chahar has been injured and ruled out of the ongoing ODI series against South Africa.
According to a media report, he has sustained injury after his ankle got twisted. Though it is not a very serious injury but he has been ruled out for the ODI series to recover. For those who are not aware, Deepak Chahar is in the standby list of Team India for upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.
So far Mohammed Shami will be replacing Jasprit Bumrah in the T20 squad. He is likely to fly for Australia within 3-4 days.
Last year's find of Chennai Super Kings, left-arm seamer Mukesh Choudhary of Maharashtra and Saurashtra's Chetan Sakariya has already joined the squad as net bowlers for the T20 World Cup.
