"Focused": Hardik Pandya tweets ahead of ICC T20 World Cup opener vs Ireland

New Delhi : Team India is all set to kickstart their marathon in the ICC T20 World Cup event in the USA; this time men in blue will be aiming to clinch the trophy and glory they had last tasted in 2007. Led by Rohit Sharma, who had steered Team India to the final of ICC ODI World Cup last year, they will be trying to overcome the setback faced against Australia.

Since 2007, when Team India had clinched the title under the captainship of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India has managed to reach the final only once in 2014 as they participated in eight editions.

Ahead of the opening match against Ireland, Hardik Pandya has shared a tweet along with a video where he can be seen determined and focused.

Team India will be facing Ireland on Wednesday, interestingly the team has played their practice game against Bangladesh on the same ground. They crushed Bangladesh by massive 60 runs.

Pandya looked in ominous touch in the warm-up game as he whacked an unbeaten 40 runs off just 23 balls, including two boundaries and four sixes. He also claimed one wicket in the match.
