PM Narendra Modi wishes CM Yogi Adityanath on his birthday amid unexpected LS Polls performance in UP

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended heartfelt greetings to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on his birthday. While BJP failed to impress in the state in recently concluded Lok Sabha Election 2024, there seems to be no resentments from PM for the CM.

"Birthday wishes to Uttar Pradesh CM, @myogiadityanath Ji on his birthday. He is working for UP’s progress and for empowering the poor and downtrodden. I wish him a long and healthy life in the times to come," PM Modi wrote in his birthday wish to CM on X (formerly known as Twitter.)

Talking about Lok Sabha Election 2024 results in Uttar Pradesh, out of 80 seats, Bharatiya Janata Party managed to win only 33 seats, Samajwadi Party took 37 seats, Congress 6 seats, Rashtriya Lok Dal RLD 2 seats, and ASPKR and ADAL both has won 1 seat each.

PM Modi has won from his lok sabha seat Varanasi. Rahul Gandhi won by a large margin from his Rae Bareli seat. But unfortunately, BJP lost it Faizabad (Ayodhya) seat which was considered as a very significant lok sabha seat due to Ram Mandir. Hema Malini has made a hat-trick by winning the lok sabha election thrice in a row. Many other famous personalities like Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Ravi Kishan, Rajnath Singh, Pankaj Chaudhary, etc have also won from their respective parliamentary seats.

BJP overall has managed to win 241 seats in the Lok Sabha Election 2024. With NDA, the majority has been achieved at 293 seats.
