ICC ODI Team rankings: Team India reclaims no. 1 spot in 50-over format

Indore : Team India has reclaimed No. 1 spot in the ICC ODI Team Rankings for 50-over format game after they beat Australia in the third ODI to claim an unassailable 3-0 lead in the ongoing 5-match ODI series. 

The South Africa now stands at number 2 spot as India has one rating point more than them.

During the start of the India vs Australia ODI series, India was at number three position on the ranking charts with Australia leading at number 2 position due to rating point difference in decimals. South Africa had 119 rating points while India and Australia had 117 points each with a difference in decimals.

Now, after 3-0 win India has reached number one spot and will retain it if they manage to end the five match series by 4-1.

India's victory in Indore ODI was also the ninth consecutive win under the captainship of Virat Kohli, the same feat was achieved under Mahendra Singh Dhoni's captainship too.
