Video: Mahendra Singh Dhoni drives his new red beast
Ranchi : Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is back in Ranchi; from past couple of months he has not been a part of the Indian cricket team but he has managed to remain in the headlines of the national news papers.
MS Dhoni grabbed the eyeballs on Saturday when he drove his new red beast - the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk - a midsize SUV which boasts a Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 engine.
Recently, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's wife had announced the arrival of the red beast to their car collection. “Welcome home #redbeast! Your toy is finally here @mahi7781, really missing you!’ she had written in the caption of one of the Instagram post.
There are speculations that Mahendra Singh Dhoni may announce his retirement anytime but there is no confirmation to it. He has not played a single game for India after the World Cup 2019.
Dhoni has been on a sabbatical ever since India’s campaign ended at the World Cup and the selectors have identified Rishabh Pant as his successor across all the three formats.
“The only expectation from Rishabh is that he read situations well,” Virat Kohli said during the ongoing T20I series against South Africa.
“We don’t expect him to play the way you might be thinking. It is about analysing a situation and dealing with it in your own way,” he further added.
