PM Narendra Modi's down to earth gesture wins hearts in Houston
Houston : Prime Minister Narendra Modi never misses a chance to win hearts of the people looking at him. With his kind gesture in Houston, he left many people skip a heart beat.
He impressed people as he was seen picking up a flower that fell from a bouquet presented to him during a welcome ceremony at the airport in Houston, where he will attend the ‘Howdy, Modi!’ event.
PM Modi was welcomed at the airport by a group of Indian and American officials.
In a video going viral on the internet, PM Narendra Modi was seen coming out of the aircraft and walking to the officials present there. One of the woman officials hands over a bouquet to Modi and some of the flowers fall on the red carpet. The Prime Minister picks them up and hands them over to one of his security personnel.
The Prime Minister is getting all kind of praise on the social media, including some saying that the Swachhta Abhiyan has now reached to United States.
“Was that a belief of not crushing part of the plant with feet or was it a gesture towards Swachhta Abhiyan?” Jitendra Sharma wrote.
Some of the users said this the “down to earth nature” of the Prime Minister.
“A part of that bouquet fallen on ground was picked up by NAMO. Such is the down to earth nature of our PM that he doesn’t even cares for any protocol,” Rishi Mishra tweeted.
“All the best @narendramodi If notice carefully , he picked up the flower fallen from the bouquet of flowers. Shows his attention towards the smallest things. Simplicity of great leader,” Yogesh tweeted.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the Indian diaspora of around 50,000 people at an Howdy Modi event in Houston.
