Watch: Crowd cheers as Hardik Pandya announces Sanju Samson's name

New Delhi : India registered a great victory against Ireland in the second T20I to seal the two-match series. For the second game, Hardik Pandya announced three changes with Sanju Samson, Harshal Patel and Ravi Bishnoi getting a place in the playing XI.

As he announced the name of Sanju Samson as the player joining the squad, the crowd in the stadium started cheering in the background.

"I think a lot of people are liking it," said Hardik soon after the cheer. Check out the video below:

Scoring high on expectations, Sanju Samson scored a brilliant 77 off 42 balls as India scored 225 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

In reply, Ireland almost pulled off an incredible victory, but eventually fell short by four runs in a last-ball thriller.
