What a gesture! Rohit Sharma hands over winning trophy to Dinesh Karthik

New Delhi : Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik never fail to impress with their chemistry on the field and it showed again when the skipper handed over winning trophy to Dinesh Karthik after defeating Australia 2-1 in the T20 series.

Talking about the current T20I Australia series, in the first game at Mohali, Rohit Sharma was seen shaking Dinesh Karthik to remain focused on the game. In the second game, when Dinesh Karthik struck the winning runs, Rohit Sharma kissed him on the helmet and the best one came in the last game when Rohit handed Dinesh the winning trophy before the group picture.

With the series win, India has broken the record of most T20I wins in a calendar year. The victory in the third T20I against Australia on Sunday was India’s 21st victory in T20Is in 2022. The earlier record was of 20 wins, which was held by Pakistan in 2021.

India has won 10 T20Is on their home soil this year.
