Will Hardik Pandya play against England in Lucknow? KL Rahul answers

New Delhi : Hardik Pandya, who has been injured since last two games, was supposed to make comeback against England in Lucknow. In a pre-match press conference on October 28, KL Rahul confirmed that he will not be playing for the side in the game.

KL Rahul confirmed that Hardik Pandya is an important member for Team India, but he will be a huge miss in the high voltage clash against Josh Butler led England. He also backed Surya Kumar Yadav and said that he will be delivering for the side till Hardik is back.

Meanwhile, there are reports which say that a Rohit Sharma is also likely to miss the game due to his wrist injury that he picked up during training session.

Team India has remained unbeaten side in the ICC World Cup 2023 tournament, while the defending champions have failed to make an impact, as they have won just one game out of five.
