New Delhi : Apple CEO Tim Cook is in India these days, he attended an Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. He was accompanied by actress Sonam Kapoor, Congress leader Rajeev Shukla, and other officials. 

Sonam Kapoor later shared some pictures on Twitter and expressed her gratitude to Tim Cook for visiting India and creating a world-class experience for the customers. "#TimCook and entire @apple team - we hope you've had a lovely stay here and leave encouraged and positive on Apple’s outlook in the country. We're so grateful for the care and attention you've given to creating your signature world-class experience here," the actress tweeted.



Tim Cook earlier inaugurated Apple Saket, the company's second retail store in India. The store has a unique curved storefront with white oak tables showcasing all of Apple's products and accessories. The design of the store is inspired by Delhi's many gates. The store has a 70-member team, half of whom are women, from 18 different states in India and can speak more than 15 Indian languages.

This is Tim Cook's first trip to India in seven years, and he also met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit. Apple is looking to invest more in India, the world's second-largest smartphone market.

Prior to this Tim Cook had inaugurated Apple's first store in Mumbai.
