IPL 2019: Shreyas Gopal scores second hat-trick of the season

Bangalore : Shreyas Gopal continued his purple patch in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 as he scored dream hattrick by removing Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers and Marcus Stonis in the 49th game of the tournament.

He also became the first bowler to dismiss Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers on three instances in the history of T20 extravaganza.

Royal Challengers Bangalore were off to a good start amid smashing knocks by Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, Shreyas took things in his hands and scored a wicket of the RCB skipper, who was dismissed after a fine cameo of 25 (7 balls). Straight after that, the leggie got the better of Mr. 360 – De Villiers and all-rounder Marcus Stoinis on successive deliveries to complete the feat.

This was the second hattrick of the season after Kings XI Punjab pacer Sam Curran.

Twitter cannot stop from praising the leg spinner for his amazing bowling during the match.

Earlier, the match started with a little delay due to rain.
