Mumbai : Ever since Hardik Pandya took over captaincy for Mumbai Indians from Rohit Sharma, he has been a victim of crowds' anger during IPL matches. In one of the recent matches against Rajasthan Royals, Rohit Sharma was seen urging the crowd not to boo Hardik Pandya.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Rohit Sharma can be seen fielding on the boundary and was caught urging fans with folded hands to calm down and not raise slogans against Hardik Pandya. However, Mumbai Indians had to face a defeat by six wickets against Rajasthan Royals in the game.

Earlier, during the coin toss, Hardik Pandya had to face the wrath of the audience, who chanted for Rohit Sharma. Hardik Pandya was also booed by a section of crowd before the toss when he was doing a warm-up exercise at the field.

Things did not end there, as Mumbai Indians were reeling at 20 for 4 in the fourth over Hardik Pandya was once again booed as he walked out to bat.

So far, Mumbai Indians have played three games in the IPL tournament, and all three of them have been lost by the team.
