New Delhi : The countdown for the inauguration of IPL 2018 has started and we are excited to see our favourite cricketers in their best shots. Along with them, we will spot popular Bollywood actors who will perform in the opening ceremony. As per the latest buzz, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra and Jacqueline Fernandez will perform in the event.

Indian Premier League 2018 season will start on April 7, Saturday and will last till May 27, Sunday. Besides the cricketers, Bollywood stars will sparkle on stage during the opening ceremony - Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra and Jacqueline Fernandez are expected to set the stage on fire with their extravagant performances. The event is surely going to enthral all its viewers.

It was a few days back when report was there that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will be paid a whopping Rs 5 Crores for a 15-minute performance, but, surprisingly, he may not the highest paid performer of the evening.

There is a buzz that Varun Dhawan will be paid over Rs 6 crores for his act in the opening ceremony.

As per DNA report, a source said, "The organisers decided to pay Varun more than everyone else for a simple reason — his connect and popularity with the junta. Adds the source, “Varun has a great connect with the masses and among all the actors from the younger generation, he has the maximum number of chartbusters in his kitty. He will be dancing to his recent hits from Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Judwaa 2, as well as other films. Jacqueline and he might also perform a few songs together."

Varun and Ranveer of the same age group and are equally famous. Both the heartthrobs have proved their acting calibre by delivering excellent performances in their movies. As of now, we need to wait to see both of them on stage of IPL. What’s your saying, people?
