Yuvraj Singh's reply on Shoaib Akhtar's tweet will leave you ROFL
New Delhi : Jofra Archer's bouncer in the ongoing Ashes Test pushed Steve Smith on the ground. The Australian batsman was hurt badly and was moved out from the field. He eventually came back to bat but the blow ruled him out of the 2nd Test as Marnus Labuschagne became the first concussion substitute in Test history.
Former Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar shared his thoughts on the gesture of Jofra Archer. He said that whenever a bowler hits a batsmen then he must go and check on him. But, he was disappointed on how Archer walked away when Steve Smith was down on the ground amid high pain.
Bouncers are a part & parcel of the game but whenever a bowler hits a batsman on the head and he falls, courtesy requires that the bowler must go & check on him. It was not nice of Archer to just walk away while Smith was in pain. I was always the first one to run to the batsman.
