New Delhi : Google has launched its Android P Beta way back on May 8 and has mentioned that the operating system supports newly launched handsets like OnePlus 6, Nokia 7 Plus, Sony Xperia XZ2, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21 and the Essential PH‑1 phone. Yet, users are confused about its installation and unable to take full benefit of the new update.

If you are wondering how to upload the new Android P Beta on your phones then you need the follow the mentioned below steps:

Step 1: Head to google.com/android/beta and see if your device is on the list.

Step 2: Sign-in into your Google account on the desktop and phone where you wish to install Android P. You should see its name in the list

Step 3: Once you see your device, you can opt-in. Google recommends you to back up all your data before opting-in and installing the new OS, which is still in beta mode and therefore may be buggy. You may lost your stored files in the phone during the installation process

Step 4: Once you opt-in, you should see the new software reflect on your smartphone. Hit download and install, reboot and Android P should be up and running on your supported device.

Please note that if you wish to opt-out, you can do that, but make sure all data is backed up. As soon as you opt-out, all data on the device will be deleted and the phone will go back to the old OS.
