Redmi S2 high-resolution images leaked: Check specifications

New Delhi : A couple of days back, an online portal had revealed the specifications of Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone Redmi S2. According to it, the smartphone is a budget device with high-end features like face unlock and dual cameras.

Now, another online portal Svetandroida has extended the information with high-resolution images. The website has posted high-resolution images of the Redmi S2 in all its glory, revealing the body, front and rear of the device.

The device shown in the pictures is in pleasant Rose Gold with a fingerprint scanner at the rear, and two cameras vertically placed to the side of it.

As per new revelations, the new Redmi S2 is expected to have a 4,205mAh battery and will be sporting the latest Android 8.1 Oreo. The 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB interface also appear to be retained in the Redmi S2.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip, with 3GB RAM. It is expected to have onboard storage of 32GB. Its 5.99-inch HD+ display offers a resolution of 720×1440 pixels.

In terms of cameras, the device has been fitted with 12MP primary + 5MP secondary configuration at the back and a 16MP camera in the front for high-quality selfies.
