Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 revealed: First look at new foldable phone

Delhi : The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be officially announced on August 14 (Monday), but CEO and founder Lei Jun has already provided an advance look at the phone's enhanced design. The Jun sums it up in three words: premium, stylish, and slim.

The four Leica cameras may be zoomed in to reveal their near and far focal lengths, which are respectively 15mm ultra wide and 115mm periscope. Even though the previous Mix Fold 2 had a 15mm super wide lens, it only had an 8MP 45mm portrait camera (2x zoom), thus the increase to 115mm is noteworthy.

Only the Google Pixel Fold (112mm) and the Huawei Mate X3 (125mm) of this year's horizontal foldables include periscopes. Even though just one of these companies is subject to trade penalties, neither phone is sadly widely available. The other folds maintain a zoom range of 2-3x. However, there isn't much chance for the Mix Fold 3 to be released internationally either.

One final note on what to anticipate: according to reports, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is said to include an IP rating, a camera hidden inside the display, 67W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging.
