Apple launches Pride Edition Sport Band for Apple Watch Series 3 and newer

Delhi : Apple has launched new products and features to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and promote equality. In addition to the previously announced Black Unity wallpaper and Black Unity Sport Loop, Apple has now introduced the Pride Edition sport band, along with a matching watch face and iOS wallpaper.

The Pride Edition sport band design incorporates the original pride flag rainbow colors, as well as additional colors. Black and brown represent the Black and Latin communities, as well as those affected by HIV/AIDS. Light blue, pink, and white symbolize transgender and nonbinary individuals.

Accompanying the sport band, Apple has unveiled a Pride Celebration watch face and iOS wallpaper. These dynamic designs respond to user interactions and will be available next week. Compatibility requires watchOS 9.5 and iOS 16.5 for Apple Watch and iPhones, respectively.

The Apple Watch Pride Edition Sport band is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes and is compatible with Apple Watch Series 3 and later models. It can be purchased from Apple's official website and retail stores starting on May 23rd and 24th, respectively, with a price of Rs 4,500.
