Apple unveils most powerful macs at WWDC 2023: Check specs and price in India
Delhi : Mac Studio and Mac Pro, which Apple calls the "most powerful Macs" to date, are among a number of goods the Cupertino-based tech company unveiled today. M2 Max and M2 Ultra are the two variants available for the new Mac Studio. On the other side, M2 Ultra is now available on Mac Pro.
Specifications for Mac Pro and Mac Studio
There are 12 CPU cores, 30 GPU cores (which may be configured to 38), and 16 Neural Engine cores in the M2 Max-powered Mac Studio. The M2 Ultra Model, in contrast, has 32 Neural Engine cores, 60 GPU cores, and 24 CPU cores, all of which can be configured to a maximum of 76. The M2 Max's memory options can include up to 96GB of RAM and 8TB of storage. The same may scale up to 192GB RAM and 8TB storage on M2 Ultra. Up to five displays can be supported by the M2 Max and up to eight displays can be supported by the M2 Ultra at once.
In contrast, the Mac Pro has an M2 Ultra processor with 32 Neural Engine cores, 60 GPU cores, and 24 CPU cores, with a maximum configuration of 76 GPU cores. From the base 64GB, the memory may be customised up to 128GB. Additionally, SSD may be configured up to 8TB from the initial 1TB. Up to eight monitors can be broadcast simultaneously.
MacOS Ventura is used by both Macs. The versions provide Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, an audio jack, HDMI, Thunderbolt 4 connections, USB ports, and 10Gb Ethernet for connectivity. Built-in speakers are standard on every system.
Mac Studio, Mac Pro Price
Starting prices for the Mac Studio are Rs 2,09,900 (M2 Max) and Rs 1,88,900 for educational institutions. Starting prices for the Mac Pro (Tower Enclosure) are Rs. 7,29,900 and Rs. 6,87,900 for students. Mac Pro (Rack Enclosure) prices start at Rs. 7,79,900 and Rs. 7,27,900 for students. Although Apple is now taking orders for both devices, they won't be available in stores or through approved partners until June 13.
