Delhi : At the Wonderlust event on Tuesday, September 12, Apple launched the Apple Watch Ultra 2 series and the new generation Apple Watch Series 9 whereas it look a like Apple Watch Series 8. But let's have a look what Wonderlust had given us through this smartwatch:

The Watch Series 9 makes a commitment to being the brand's greenest product to date.

Even the cobalt used in the battery is reportedly 100% recyclable, as are all of the aluminum covers used in standard models.  The new Sport Loop band for the aluminum Apple Watch Series 9 is claimed to be carbon neutral. The corporation has made the conscious decision to stop using leather in the production of any new Apple products, including watch bands. In addition, Apple will soon offer FineWoven, a posh and robust microtwill comprised of 68 percent post-consumer recycled material that emits much less carbon dioxide than leather. The Magnetic Link and Modern Buckle bands are compatible with FineWoven, which has a suede-like texture. With a redesigned Sport Loop band, the Apple Watch Series 9 is made entirely of metal.

Specifications of Apple Watch Series 9

Bright displays with a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits are a feature of the brand-new Watch Series 9. The screen of the new Watch Ultra 2 is capable of 3000 nits of brightness, which is 50% more brightness than the model from the previous generation.

Specifications of Apple Watch Ultra 2

Like the older model, the new Watch Ultra 2 is made to function in harsh environments; it can withstand 500 meters below sea level and can continue to function normally at altitudes of up to 9,000 meters.

The brand-new S9 SoC (System-on-Chip) is included with both the Watch Series 9 and the Watch Ultra 2. S9 silicon is included in both the Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra. It claims to provide fresh features, including a new double-tap gesture (more on that later), as well as system-wide improvements. It will also significantly improve on-device Siri by enabling secure, private access to and logging of health information.

The Series 9 Apple Watch's main features

The new Watches now accommodate the double-tap gesture. Many of the most frequent activities can be swiftly and easily carried out by users by tapping the index finger and thumb of the watch hand together twice. He or she can change according to their preferences to an application's main button by double tapping. They can pause and resume music, halt a timer during an activity, and snooze an alarm in the morning. Additionally, a phone call can be answered and ended using the double-tap gesture. Even the Apple Watch's Camera Remote allows users to shoot pictures.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2's main features

When compared to Apple Watch Series 8, the S9 also includes a new 4-core Neural Engine that can process machine learning tasks up to twice as quickly. The S9 SiP's power efficiency enables the Apple Watch Series 9 to retain an 18-hour battery life throughout the day. With typical use, the Watch Ultra 2 promises to last 36 hours. Previous models of the Apple Watch had a tactile Digital Crown and Taptic Engine and allowed movements including tapping, swiping, raising the wrist, and covering the speaker to mute.

Double tap feature: Users should wait for the Apple Watch Update in October

A second double touch will allow you to scroll through the widgets in the Smart Stack after opening it from the watch face. Both the Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 feature the double-tap gesture. However, a software upgrade in October will make the double tap gesture accessible. New Ultra Wideband (UWB) chips are included in the Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra to enable Precision Finding for the iPhone 15 family, which also includes the same technology.

Additionally, UWB will further integrate the Apple Watch with the HomePod speakers. Apple Watch Series 9 will debut Now Playing to allow users to control media when they are 4 meters or less away from a HomePod that is playing audio. Alternatively, media suggestions will show up at the top of the Smart Stack if HomePod isn't currently playing anything.

Stainless steel versions of the Apple Watch Series 9

The 41mm and 45mm versions of the Apple Watch Series 9 are offered in stainless steel in gold, silver, and graphite casings, as well as starlight, midnight, silver, red, and a new pink aluminum case.
