Delhi : The camera app for Macs and PCs will be discontinued on January 25 according to Snap, the parent company of Snapchat.

Snap Camera enables users to add filters to their faces while participating in video conferences.

Later this month, the application "no longer will be available to use or download," according to the company's announcement on the Snap Camera support page.

Users can still use Snapchat filters on the web version of the application, according to the tech giant, which also highlighted this.

The business marketed Snap Camera as a tool for enhancing users' Twitch feeds when it was originally released in 2018.

In the meantime, Snap had declared last month that its impending augmented reality (AR) feature will aid in the monetization of producers.

At its Lensfest developer event, the business announced the news and stated that it had been working with some creators to make lenses that incorporate buyable digital items.
