Delhi : Microsoft India on Wednesday announced the preview availability of new Edge and Bing mobile apps for iOS and Android, acting as a co-pilot for the online version.

The new Bing experience may be used from the Microsoft Edge mobile app's home page by those who have access to the preview.

Users will have the same experience on the new Bing app as they would on a PC.

Users may access a chat session where they can converse much as they would on a desktop by pressing the Bing symbol at the bottom of the programme.

"Ask basic or difficult queries, and you'll get responses along with citations. Choose whether you want your answers to be presented in text, bullet points, or a combination of both. Improve your search using the Bing chat experience, or create an email, poem, or list "Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Consumer Products, posted on his blog.

The tech giant expanded the ways in which users may ask questions and get answers from Bing by introducing "voice search" with the launch of the new Bing mobile app.

The business has developed a new conversation experience by launching Bing for Skype, which is driven by AI, to improve users' social interactions with their friends and family.

Bing can add unique value to this worldwide communications tool since it is fluent in more than 100 languages and is able to translate between them, according to the business.

The new Bing in Skype can offer useful, on-the-spot responses to all of your inquiries and is currently available in preview around the globe, it was said.

The business said that it plans to eventually integrate AI-powered Bing functionality into other communication tools, such as Teams.

Microsoft said last week that more than 1 million individuals joined the queue to test out the new Bing Search on desktops with ChatGPT capabilities in only 48 hours.
