New Delhi : Hold your breath for some more days as Samsung will launch its second flagship smartphone of 2018. The much-awaited Galaxy Note 9 is expected to launch on August 9, according to a new report. It is likely that one of the biggest selling points of this new handset will be its revamped camera.

Samsung plans to highlight redesigned camera with the Galaxy Note 9 is due to the fact that the company has introduced its dual camera setup with the Galaxy Note 8 last year which eventually made its way to the Galaxy S9 in 2018.

Bloomberg reports that the Galaxy Note 9 launch will take place on August 9 and that the camera will be one of the key features to attract buyers. It is believed to have similar physical appearance to its predecessor and will feature the Snapdragon 845 processor from Qualcomm in markets where Samsung doesn’t ship the Exynos variant.

The new Galaxy Note 9 launch will take place two weeks earlier than it did last year. The company is believed to be targeting for a release by the end of August. However, the plans could shift, though, the report claims.

Samsung was already expected to host the Galaxy Note 9 launch a bit earlier than it did for the Galaxy Note 8 last year. Any major technological progress such as in-display fingerprint sensor is now believed to be kept for the Galaxy S10 next year even though it was previously rumoured that Samsung might finally introduce it with the Galaxy Note 9 this year.
