Impressive features and specs: Motorola Edge 40 Pro flagship
Delhi : While it does create flagship-level smartphones pretty much every year, Motorola isn't particularly well-known for them, and the majority of its releases frequently go unnoticed. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro, however, could end up being a serious contender for one of the greatest Android smartphones to be released this year based on what we've seen and heard about it. We've seen it in earlier leaked renders, but now that we know some of its details, this phone is starting to seem like a real beast.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 12GB Memory, and 256GB of internal storage are all included in the Motorola Edge 40 Pro. It features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz. There will be three cameras on the back: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. The phone will have a big 4,600mAh battery, 125W wired charging speeds, Android 13, and come in Lunar Blue. We're looking at a price of €899.
Overall, this phone's specs make it a rather outstanding device. But, given that we don't really know how well the cameras will be or how the display will look, the specifications only reveal part of the picture. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is reportedly merely a modified version of the Moto X40, which was made available in Asia around the end of last year, although this hasn't been confirmed. Things appear to line up based on the specifications, which, even if true, isn't necessarily a bad thing given that we're getting a fantastic collection of hardware for a reasonable price. This device might be released in the US as the Moto Edge+ (2023).
