Delhi : Nothing wanted to be left out of the media spotlight this week, with all the announcements at MWC in Barcelona, so it began its teaser campaign for the forthcoming Phone (2) in earnest.

We anticipate learning bits and pieces about the new gadget over the coming weeks or months, including at OnePlus before launching Nothing. It begins with the chipset. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 series will be used in the Nothing Phone (2).

Sadly, the company didn't provide any other information. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is expected to power the Nothing Phone (2), as it does for many of the upcoming flagship Android devices.

According to Carl Pei himself, the Nothing Phone (2) will be introduced in the US and is scheduled to arrive between July and September during the third quarter of the year. It will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2.

As we already knew that the Phone (2) will be more expensive than the mid-range Phone (1), the announcement isn't really shocking. But it's unclear how much higher-end exactly. Will it be a full-fledged flagship competing with devices like the Galaxy S23 Ultras or will it be more of a "flagship killer" fighting with devices like the OnePlus 11s?

Wait and see, shall we. The next device was rumoured to have 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 120 Hz OLED display, and a 5,000 mAh battery. We'll be interesting to see if the translucent back design will stay, alongside the Glyph LEDs.
