Los Angeles : Do you remember the archaic Nokia 3310. The iconic mobile is going to launch again and this time it will be re-released at the Mobile World Congress later this month.

It is the same phone that was once in everyone’s pocket, and was known for its long battery life and excellent gaming options- remember Snake!

In total, it was the best option back in 2000s but was later replaced with smartphones and new age technology.

Back in 2000, the phone replaced the 3210 and went on to sell around 126 million worldwide thus creating a record of its own. However, it was discontinued in 2005 following less sale.

But now it has once again stirred the hearts of many as it is rumoured to be being re-released at the Mobile World Congress later this month.

HMB Global, which owns the rights to the Nokia brand, is expected to announce four new handsets for sale, among them the 3310. It’s set to retail at around £49 or nearly Rs 4100, VentureBeats reports.

The event will be held on February 26 in Barcelona.
