OnePlus 7 Pro price leaked ahead of official release, price tag to cross Rs 50,000 mark

New Delhi : OnePlus 7 series is all set for an official launch on May 14, as announced; the company will introduce two new flagship phones, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Going by the name, the Pro will sport better features than the regular OnePlus 7.

Premium features will also attract a premium price; according to a leak report, OnePlus 7 Pro’s top-end model will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage and may cost $819 (Rs 57,000 approximately). The phone is expected to be available in two more models – 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The mid variant is expected to cost $749 (Rs 52,000 approximately).

If the latest leak is to be believed, OnePlus 7 Pro 12GB model could be one of the most expensive OnePlus phones ever.

With the new set benchmark, it looks like the company is now targeting the cheaper flagship phones launched by Samsung (Galaxy S10e) and Apple (iPhone XR). It is worth noting that Google is also working on a cheaper Pixel 3 phone, dubbed as Pixel 3a.

In terms of features, OnePlus 7 pro will be a bomb of new updates. According to rumours thus far,OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a dual-curved screen, akin to Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10. It is also expected to come with a triple-rear camera setup including a big 48-megapixel sensor. Other two sensors are expected to be telephoto and ultra-wide angle lenses.

The company's CEO Pete Lau had recently revealed a few things about the smartphone and another higher-tier device: the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Talking to The Verge, Lau confirmed that OnePlus 7 will be announced alongside the OnePlus 7 Pro and it will feature 5G connectivity. While he did not give a mention about an expected price of the device, we have learned that it will be competing with flagship devices by Samsung, Huawei and Apple.
