OnePlus Nord 3 vs. OnePlus 11R: Which smartphone offers better value for money?
Delhi : On July 5, the OnePlus Nord 3 was unveiled during the company's Summer Launch Event. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, along with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, powers the Chinese company's 5G smartphone. In the meantime, the OnePlus 11R, which comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 16GB of RAM, made its debut in India at the Cloud 11 launch event by OnePlus in February of this year. The device was introduced as the OnePlus Ace 2 in China.
Both of OnePlus' 5G smartphones come with the Alert Slider and start at less than Rs. 40,000 for the bare minimum of RAM and storage. The OnePlus 11R and OnePlus Nord 3 differ significantly from one another, though. Here is a comparison of the two smartphones to help you decide which might be the best option for you.
Indian prices for the OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus 11R
The OnePlus 11R was introduced on February 7 and is offered in two variations in India. Priced at Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage basic model and Rs. 44,999 for the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage model. There are two colour options for the smartphone: Sonic Black and Galatic Silver.
The recently released OnePlus Nord 3 costs a little less than the OnePlus 11R, on the other hand. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage combination costs Rs. 33,999, while the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs Rs. 37,999. Misty Green and Tempest Grey are the OnePlus Nord 3's available colours.
Specifications of the OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus 11R
The OnePlus Nord 3 is equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 9000 chipset, whilst the OnePlus 11R is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 5G SoC. Both phones have up to 256GB of internal storage and 16GB of RAM.
Both the OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus 11R come with a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen. The company's Alert Slider is installed on the right side of the frame of both smartphones. The OnePlus Nord 3 ships with OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13, whereas the OnePlus 11R arrived with OxygenOS 12.1. The latter has since received the most recent OxygenOS 13 update.
The two smartphones each have three cameras on the back: a 2-megapixel macro camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 50-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor. The OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus 11R both include 16-megapixel front-facing cameras for selfies and video calls.
Support for 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS connectivity are other features that the two smartphones have in common. The OnePlus Nord 3 has a 5,000mAh battery but only supports 80W SuperVOOC charging, while the OnePlus 11R has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 100W SUPERVOOC S fast charging.
