PUBG mobile 2.8 update: Unleash chaos in new zombie mode

Delhi : A month-long beta testing period has come to an end with Krafton giving the go-ahead for the release of PUBG Mobile 2.8. After a protracted absence, zombies have been reintroduced into the game with the release of the update, ending the beneficial partnership with Dragonball Super. To give mobile gamers throughout the world a better BR gaming experience, more features have also been implemented.

PUBG Mobile gamers will be thrilled to discover a number of key additions in the new 2.8 version.

1) Themed mode: Zombies Edge

The highlight of PUBG Mobile's 2.8 release is a brand-new themed mode called Zombies Edge. On the maps of Erangel, Miramar, and Livik, the themed mode will be accessible. Zombies, who have been absent for a while, are back in the game for PvE combat.

The Aerolith Labs and its Outposts, which also have fantastic treasure and will be popular landing areas, are where gamers can witness zombies spawning. 2) WOW mode upgrades

Multiple adjustments have been made to PUBG Mobile's World of Wonder mode. The 2.8 update has added new PvE gameplay and various enemy kinds. The Character Switch Device, interactive items, gameplay devices, map templates, construction and ornamental elements, and more are all included in editor updates.

The gameplay elements, editing features, and game parameter settings have all been improved. The PUBG Mobile 2.8 update includes a new partnership with the well-known restaurant chain KFC. On the themed mode maps (Erangel, Livik, and Miramar), restaurants will spawn as distinctive structures in specific locations.

The following items are available in the restaurants:

• Recovers 60 Energy in a KFC beverage. usage time of four seconds.
  
• Recovers 75 Health with KFC Nuggets. usage time of four seconds.
• KFC Chicken Bucket: Complete health restoration. six seconds are used up.
• KFC Chicken Dinner is an uncommon food. complete health and energy are restored. usage time of six seconds.
  

In addition to the aforementioned conventional items, KFC restaurants have interactive self-ordering kiosks that you can use. To buy supplies, they can trade tokens that they can find scattered over the map. They must keep in mind, though, that there will only be a certain amount of these.

4) Changes to firearms

The dagger melee weapon is a new addition to the game. In PvE mode, it allows you to deliver piercing damage to zombies and other adversaries and may be swiftly equipped. It also has a superior grip. AUG A3, an air-drop weapon to date, can be discovered on the classic levels in various spots as a regular weapon. FAMAS has instead been added to the list of air-drop weapons.

Amplifications have also been made to ACE32 and MK12. The Honey Badger and the ACE32 weapons are now available for use in Arena mode matches. The Crossbow can be fitted with a new tactical attachment that allows it to shoot explosives in addition to the bow. The moment the bow touches the ground, an explosion will take place, harming foes.

5) Popularity Battle event

The Popularity Battle event from the 2.7 release will also be included in the 2.8 version due to its enormous success. Two distinct Solo and Team Popularity Battle events will show up in PUBG Mobile.

The registration and battle times for the well-known events are as follows:

• Event for Solo Popularity: Registration (8-12 September), Battle (13-October 10)
  
• Event for Team Popularity: Sign-ups (October 13–18), Battle (October 19–November 6).
  
• The single Popularity Battle will feature single gamers competing against fresh opponents in several rounds to achieve popularity. There will be a popular vote winner in each round.
  
• The four-person teams will compete against each other in the Team Popularity Battle event while engaging in one-on-one popularity contests.

There will be a total of eight rounds. The victors of both Popularity Battle competitions will be ranked in accordance with their server rankings and rewarded appropriately.
