Samsung Galaxy unpacked 2023: Introducing the Galaxy Book 3 series
Delhi : Galaxy Unpacked Event, South Korean technology corp. Samsung showcased its most recent line of high-end laptops. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 14, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 16, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and the flagship Galaxy Book 3 Ultra are the new additions to the lineup.
Galaxy Book 3 Pro customers will have a choice between Graphite and Beige textures, while the premium Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will only be sold in the Graphite colour design.
On February 17, some markets will be able to purchase the Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Pro 360, while on February 22, certain regions will be able to purchase the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.
Galaxy Book 3 Pro: Dimensions and Features
There are two sizes available for the Galaxy Book 3 Pro: 14 inch and 16 inch. They can cover 120 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut on a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with an adjustable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The displays feature a 2880 x 1800 resolution.
The 16-inch display of Samsung's 2-in-1 convertible, the Galaxy Book Pro 360, is a Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 and an adjustable refresh rate of up to 120Hz, much like all the laptops in the lineup.
A Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 16:10 aspect ratio is included on the 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. It offers a 400 nit brightness and an adjustable refresh rate between 48 and 120 Hz. The screen features a 2880 x 1800 resolution.
Galaxy Book 3 Pro: Processor and Software
The 13th Gen Evo Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs with Intel's Xe Graphics are the internal processing options for the Galaxy Book 3 Pro. Both workstations may be configured with up to 1TB of inbuilt PCIe SSD storage and 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Both computers already have Windows 11 installed.
The 13th Gen EVO Core i7 or Core i9 CPUs from Intel come with Intel's Xe Graphics, and you may choose between them. Additionally, it may be customised with up to 1TB of internal PCIe SSD storage and 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM. S-Pen support is also included.
Users may pick between a Core i7 or a Core i9, and Samsung offers the most recent 13th Gen EVO platforms from Intel. The GeForce RTX 4050 or RTX 4070 laptop GPU from Nvidia is another option available to customers.
Details on connectivity, audio, and charging
Both Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 are supported. You have a choice of up to 1TB of PCIe SSD internal storage and 32GB of LPDDR 5 RAM. The webcam is a studio-caliber twin mic FHD 1080p shooter.
It has AKG's Quad Speaker array, which supports Dolby Atmos, for speakers. The 76Wh battery may be charged with a 100W USB Type-C adapter. Along with a USB Type-A port, it offers two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Additionally, it contains a headphone/mic connector, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a microSD card. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will utilize Windows 11 from Microsoft.
