WhatsApp launches new emoji reactions for its users

New Delhi : The people who are using the latest version of instant messaging application WhatsApp can now send a new emoji reaction. According to a report, the company has added six emoji reactions - Like, Love, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Thanks.

People can choose among the emojis by simply keeping a long tap on the chat.

Users can see who reacted to any incoming and outgoing message by tapping the reaction icon: a reaction info section shows up that lists all people with the emoji they used to react to the message.

A push notification is sent every time someone reacts to the chat. However, this notification can be disabled from Settings menu as per personal choice of the user.

The new reaction update has already been rolled out to the users. It may take up to 7 days to get completely enabled on all devices.
