Xiaomi introduces Pad SE: Android tablet featuring an impressive 8,000 mAh battery
Delhi : The company has expanded its Redmi tablet lineup with the introduction of Redmi Pad SE in Europe after releasing its top-tier Android tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. The Redmi Pad SE, which replaced the Redmi Pad that was introduced the previous year, has an FHD+ display and is powered by a Qualcomm CPU. The Android tablet has four speakers and an 8,000 mAh battery powering it.
Starting at 199 Euros (about Rs 18,110), the Redmi Pad SE is reasonably priced. The tablet comes in Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray, and Mint Green color options for customers to choose from. The tablet is now on sale in Europe, but the manufacturer has not yet provided any information regarding its introduction in India.
Redmi Pad SE technical details
The Redmi Pad SE has an 11-inch FHD+ screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The display has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 CPU and up to 8GB of RAM power the gadget. The Android tablet has an inbuilt storage capacity of up to 128GB, which can be increased by a microSD card to 1TB.
The Redmi Pad SE's operating system is Android 13 with a custom MIUI 14 layer added by the manufacturer. The Android tablet has a 5MP front camera with an F/2/2 aperture for video calling and an 8MP single lens back camera with an f/2.3 aperture. A quad-speaker Dolby Atmos-tuned Redmi Pad SE with an 8,000 mAh battery and 10W charging capabilities.
Redmi 12 5G launched in India recently
Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi 12 5G smartphone in India earlier this month. The Redmi 12 5G is offered in three variations, with prices ranging from Rs 11,999 to Rs 13,499 to Rs 15,499 for the 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB models.
The smartphone runs Android 13 out of the box and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 CPU. The phone has a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 2460 x 1080 resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 91% screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 550 nits.
