Delhi : Xiaomi had released a 4K version of its TV Stick in the foreign market in December 2021. Finally, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K has arrived in India, rounding up the company's position in the Smart TV space. This replaces the first-generation TV Stick, which was released in 2020.

Specifications and features of the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K

The new Xiaomi TV Stick is distinguished from its predecessor by its support for 4K resolution. This results in better colour reproduction and a more visually pleasing experience. Improvements to Dolby Vision are also supported. The TV Stick's built-in Chromecast features allow users to easily cast their phones and tablets onto TVs.

Similar to the international variant, the streaming device in India runs Android 11 TV with the most recent PatchWall version on top. In addition to providing access to Live TV, sports, and music, the Google Play Store also has Universal Search, smart collections, and hundreds of apps and OTT services.

The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K also has Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Technology for a surround sound experience. The characteristics include a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. Additionally supported are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI 2.1, and a micro-USB power port (something that feels too obsolete now).

Users will also receive a lightweight, portable device that is easy to transport, as well as a Bluetooth-enabled remote control with dedicated keys for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar as well as voice controls for Google Assistant.

Availability and price

Customers may only purchase the new Xiaomi TV Stick 4k from the company's website starting on February 20 for Rs 4,999.
