Turkey : Sometimes kids do things which are more generous than even adults can even imagine. A nine-year-old Turkish boy donated his piggy bank savings to the earthquake victims. The gesture is so beautiful and selfless that it has taken the internet by storm. The earthquake in Syria and Turkey has killed more than 28,000 people till last official reports.

According to a media report, the young boy had spent a couple of days in the relief tents setup by Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) for a while after the earthquake of magnitude 5.4 in the northwestern Duzce province in November.

The report mentioned that the boy approached his mother and told her that he wants to donate the money in his piggy bank to the earthquake victims.

The boy and his mother visited the Duzce branch of the Turkish Red Crescent and gave the money to the authorities. The young boy also attached an emotional letter with the donation box for the survivors.

"I was very scared when there was an earthquake in Duzce. I had the same fear when I heard about the earthquake in many of our cities. That is why I decided to send the pocket money given by my elders to the children there.

"It is okay if I do not buy chocolate here. Children there should not be cold or hungry...," he said in a letter.

Currently, the rescue operation is on and the rescuers from all across the world are helping the crisis hit Turkey and Syria.
