Dr. K. A. Paul slams union budget 2025-26, calls it a ‘Cruel Joke’ for the poor and Telugu States

New Delhi : Evangelist and Global Peace Initiative founder Dr. K. A. Paul has denounced the Union Budget 2025-26, calling it a failure in addressing unemployment, poverty, and regional development. He accused the Modi government of favoring billionaires while neglecting common Indians.
Dr. Paul criticized the lack of higher taxes on the rich, arguing that India’s resources are mismanaged, leaving millions in distress. He slammed the government’s neglect of key sectors, pointing out that 40% of Indians remain jobless, while farmers, healthcare, and child welfare get minimal support.
Focusing on Telugu states, he condemned the failure to allocate ₹38,000 crore for village development and the lack of funds for Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, accusing the government of pushing it toward privatization. He also criticized zero allocations for Andhra Pradesh’s capital development and smart city projects.
Comparing India’s economy to China’s, Dr. Paul blamed corruption, poor policies, and lack of foreign investments for India lagging behind. He accused the BJP-led government of prioritizing Gujarat and BJP-ruled states while ignoring others.
Calling the budget an “abomination”, he urged Indians to unite and remove the Modi government, warning that continued misgovernance will keep the poor suffering.
