Exposed! Obama, Modi, other leaders duped by manipulated global warming data
Los Angeles : In a shocking revelation on Sunday, a British daily exposed how world leaders were duped into investing billions over manipulated global warming data.
It gave an evidence stating that the organisation that is the world’s leading source of climate data put up fraud details to influence the historic Paris Agreement on climate change.
The details were given by a high-level whistleblower Dr John Bates, a top NOAA scientist, to the newspaper who revealed that the company rushed to publish a landmark paper that exaggerated global warming.
He named the company as America’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that breached its own rules on scientific integrity when it published the sensational but flawed report.
The report was aimed at making the maximum possible impact on world leaders including Barack Obama and David Cameron at the UN climate conference in Paris in 2015.
The flawed report claims that the ‘pause’ or ‘slowdown’ in global warming in the period since 1998 – revealed by UN scientists in 2013 – never existed.
In fact the world temperatures had been rising faster than scientists expected.
His disclosures comes in wake of rigorous stand by President Donald Trump, who is determined to reverse US stance on global warming and withdraw from the Paris deal.
