Florida bank robbery: Suspect holds hostages, surrenders post negotiations

Florida : Cops foiled a bank robbery attempt in Jacksonville, Florida, on Thursday morning after a suspect surrendered before them during negotiations. He had taken a dozen of people hostage before surrendering.
The robbery was attempted before 9 a.m. at the Community First Credit Union on Edgewood Avenue.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 23-year-old Nicholas Daquan Humphrey, he had been arrested twice this year for minor criminal activities.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office SWAT team tackled him for about two hours before they managed to pull hostages out from the location.
Police said they received a 911 call reporting that someone was shot, but they later determined that the report was unfounded.
