Human remains found in landing gear of military plane: US Air Force
New Delhi : The U.S. Air Force on Tuesday said that during the investigation they found human remains in the wheel well of one of its C-17s that flew out of Kabul amid the chaos of the Taliban taking over the city.
In an official statement, the Air Force claimed that hundreds of Afghan civilians came and surrounded the aircraft as it landed at Kabul's airport on Monday.
"Faced with a rapidly deteriorating security situation around the aircraft, the C-17 crew decided to depart the airfield as quickly as possible," the statement said.
Recently a video of people running and hoping on to the moving US Military C17 plane at Kabul airport had gone viral. Some of the videos even showed people falling from the flying plane to their deaths.
