"Imran Khan should have been hanged publicly, but Pakistan courts are welcoming"
New Delhi : On Monday, Raja Riaz Ahmad Khan, the Leader of the Opposition in Pakistan's National Assembly, expressed his criticism of the courts for granting bail to the former prime minister, Imran Khan. He suggested that Imran Khan deserved public hanging, remarking that the courts were treating him with undue favoritism, as if he were their own family member.
"Should the judges hold such immense admiration for this individual, whom they refer to as a Jewish agent, they might consider joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. The party has several vacant positions that could be filled by them. Moving forward, it would be prudent for them to contest elections under the PTI's banner. In the vacated judicial positions, individuals should be appointed who possess the ability to dispense justice to the underprivileged," he said.
Raja Riaz expressed deep concern regarding the incidents of vandalism and arson carried out by Imran Khan's supporters in various parts of Pakistan, stating that the entire House and the entire nation feel a sense of shame.
Today, the ruling coalition in Pakistan organized a demonstration outside the Supreme Court to protest against recent judiciary rulings that were perceived as granting excessive relief to former Prime Minister Imran Khan in multiple cases. Demonstrators from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) entered the Red Zone, while the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) set up a stage in front of the Supreme Court, as reported by news agency PTI, citing Dawn News.
