India calls off foreign secretary level talks with Pakistan

New Delhi : Talking tough, India on Wednesday called off foreign secretary level talks with Pakistan .The talks were scheduled for next week, India took stringent action after Pakistan held meeting with Kashmiri separatist.

Modi government called it totally unacceptable, Sujata Singh was scheduled to travel to Islamabad on August 25 The meeting was scheduled after almost 2 years

Earlier, talks were put on hold after the LoC incident Pakistan has history of talking with Kashmiri seperatist before any major biletral talks. Though, Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif had broken the era by coming to Modi's swearing-in ceremony
