India, Vietnam sign seven pacts to strengthen bilateral ties

• India and Vietnam on Monday inked seven pacts to make sure a high on strength bilateral ties
• The main pact signed is to enhance co-operation in oil sector
• India and Vietnam also signed an MoU on extension of USD 100 million Line of Credit to Hanoi for defence procurement
• Both the countries also agreed to look in the matter of customs
• The two countries shall assist each other for the prevention, investigation and combating customs offences
• India and Vietnam also signed an MoU to ensure good health of animal in both the countries
• The fifth MoU has been signed for thr cooperation in the field of setting up of pangasius breeding and farming in India
• The sixth MoU signed looks after the development of youth affairs
• An MoU between Jet Airways (India) and Vietnam Airlines Company Limited has also been sign ed, which will enhance their presence in each other's markets.
