Ladakh : Hours after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh affirmed that the disengagement process has begun at the tensed Ladakh region, Indian Army has released first video of the disengagement process at Indo-China border.

In the video, Chinese tanks can be seen moving away from the border. An Indian tank can also be seen moving back from the location.

Before the disengagement, the senior Army officials of both India and China met and shook hands showing agreement on disengagement.

The video has been tweeted by the news agency ANI on Twitter:

Addressing the upper house of the Parliament, Rajnath Singh said that both sides have agreed for an organized and phased disengagement from the border area along Pangong lake.

He informed that China will move back its military to Finger 8 and India will call back its soldiers to its old base at Finger 3.

Meanwhile, patrolling from Finger 8 to Finger 4 will remain suspended from both the sides.
