Las Vegas : The US President Joe Biden has tested positive for coronavirus soon after he said that he may not contest for the upcoming elections considering his health.

The 81-year-old leader was seen giving a thumbs up from his limousine and said that he "I feel good" as he cut short his Las Vegas trip after the diagnosis.

According to an official statement released by the White House, POTUS was suffering  from a runny nose, cough and "general malaise." He was taking Covid medications as he flew for isolation to his beach house in Rehoboth, Delaware.

Interestingly, the diagnosis came soon after he was quoted in an interview saying, he may step aside as a presidential candidate "if I had some medical condition that emerged."

It must be noted that Joe Biden had been facing the heat since his poor debate against Donald Trump recently. People trolled him for tired and confused appearance. On the other hand, Donald Trump has also received emotional support from the people after he escaped his assassination bid during a recent rally campaign.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, "Biden is vaccinated and boosted and he is experiencing mild symptoms. He will be returning to Delaware where he will self-isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time."
