Los Angeles : An Indian man has been the prime suspect of Finsbury Park Incident in London.

The man is set to have attacked twin babies ‘with a hammer’ last night, leaving one dead and his sister critically injured.

The Indian man named Bidhya Sagar Das, 33, is being hunted by police after the toddlers were rushed to hospital just after 11pm last night.

The boy died at 1am on Sunday but the girl is still fighting for life.

It is reported that Das was at the flat shortly before the incident, but disappeared after emergency services arrived on the scene.

According to police, Das lives at the address and is believed to be the father of the two children.

Neighbours and witnesses claim that they heard the woman shouting ‘my kids’ as she ran outside at around at 11.10pm on Saturday.

They also saw two young children being carried out of the building on Wilberforce Road, near Finsbury Park.

The children were twins and lived on the top floor with their Romanian mother and Indian father.
