Mriya: Russian forces destroys world’s biggest cargo plane in Ukraine
New Delhi : Wars have never resulted in anything productive and a recent example for that is AN-225 Mriya – world's biggest cargo plane in Ukraine. The nation has reported that it has been destroyed by the Russian men, but Mriya will fly again soon.
The restoration of the plane will cost around USD 3 billion and a lot of time, said Ukraine.
About AN-225 Mriya
The plane is the longest and heaviest aeroplane ever built. Made in 1980s, the plane is capable of holding up to 640 tons of cargo. Mriya in Ukraine means 'Dream', the plane was manufactured by Ukrainian aeronautics company Antonov.

The plane has burned to ashes in shelling by the Russian troops at Hostomel Airport outside Kyiv.
Russia has been reportedly doing heavy shelling on many cities of Ukraine ever since it started a full-fledged invasion in the nation.
Several European Nations, Canada and the US have imposed several sanctions and restrictions on Russia over their action on Ukraine. Several nations have closed their air space for Russian airlines.
