Washington : The United States of America has announced a bounty of $1 million to the person who will find former Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden’s son Hamza bin Laden, who is believed to be heading the terror organisation these days.

The US has received information that he planning to avenge his father's death.

As per reports, it is under speculation for years that Hamza has been living in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria or under house arrest in Iran. A State Department statement read, “Hamza bin Laden is the son of deceased former AQ leader Osama bin Laden and is emerging as a leader in the AQ franchise.”

Hamza's whereabouts have remained a big question for the searching authorities. Some believe that he is residing in Afghanistan, while some say that he is residing with his mother in Iran.

In 2015, Hamza had released an audio message urging terrorists in Syria to unite, claiming that the fight in the war-torn country paves the way to liberating Palestine.

Osama bin Laden who was living in hiding in the Pakistani garrison town of Abbottabad was killed by US special forces in 2011.
