New Delhi : The US based companies Netflix and TikTok have announced that they have banned their services in Russia in wake of ongoing war in Ukraine.

TikTok has said that its users from Russia will no longer be able to post or do live stream on TikTok. They will also not be able to see videos shared from other parts of the world.

On Sunday, United States based payment companies Visa and Mastercards had announced to cease their operations in Russia.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with POTUS Joe Biden and welcomed the decision by Visa and Mastercards on Russia.

"Zelenskyy welcomed the decision this evening by Visa and Mastercard to suspend service in Russia," said White House.



The US has also announced various sanctions on Russia over invasion in Ukraine.
